£20m is being invested into Lowestoft
Our town matters.
Central Lowestoft has been selected to receive up to £20 million through the Government’s Pride in Place programme – a ten-year investment that puts local people at the heart of decisions about the future of their neighbourhood.
Over the next decade, the programme will support projects that make a lasting difference to Central Lowestoft – helping to create a town that people are proud to live in, work in, visit and invest in.
Decided by you.
Pride in Place isn’t about decisions being made for Lowestoft. It’s about decisions being made with Lowestoft.
Local residents, businesses, community groups and organisations will have opportunities to share their ideas, identify the issues that matter most and help shape how the investment is used. The Neighbourhood Board will listen to those voices and develop a long-term investment plan that reflects the ambitions and priorities of the community.
There’s no single answer to what will make Lowestoft a better place. It could mean improving our high streets and public spaces, supporting local communities, creating opportunities for young people, celebrating our heritage, or investing in the things that make our town distinctive.
